Abstract
The Papers of Abner Jackson consist of materials dated from 1829 to 1880 which were created by or for Abner Jackson, wife Emily (Ellsworth) Jackson, and their only child, Emily Elizabeth Jackson Nicholas. The materials include mainly personal correspondence and other unattached manuscripts; diaries in bound volumes; printed ephemera; and a small number of daguerreotypes.

Abstract
This collection contains correspondence (personal and official), publications, lectures, newspapers, and ephemera, related to the term of Albert C. Jacobs as President of Trinity College (1953-1968). Jacobs' inauguration constitutes some of the materials, but the bulk of the collection consists of speeches, including drafts, final copies, and spoken word recordings. A sound recording by Mr. Robert S. Morris is also included on side B of several copies of a disc recording.
